Iโ€™m a French game developer living in Wuhan, China who just wants to ship games and engage with talented people! I used to work for Ubisoft as a Game Designer. My role there was to ensure that the targeted player experience was well-documented and communicated among the team.

After more than 7 years at Ubisoft, I made a leap of faith and started to develop my own games. This allows me to pursue my desire to learn new skills and refocus on programming. Nowadays, I juggle between developing my games and supporting other developers through contract work.

Check out my projects and please consider hiring me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

My main skills

Game Design

Some tools I love to use

I have been using since I graduated. Even as a game designer, I often used it for making quick proof of concepts.

C# & WPF

My go-to language and UI framework to make tools. While I occasionally use C and C++, I eventually learn to love C# quirks.

Office suites

It's important to realize the main tools of a Game Designer are Excel and Powerpoint. Better be good with them.

A sample of what I love about game development:

  • Juggling with constraints ๐Ÿคนโ€โ™‚๏ธ
  • Exploring the unique possibilities of the medium ๐Ÿ’ก
  • Sharing obscure and insightful games ๐Ÿ”Ž
  • Prototyping game mechanics ๐ŸŽฎ
  • confront a vision to reality ๐Ÿ‘“

Beside making games Iโ€™m also:

  • Creating mods for existing games ๐Ÿšง
  • Making tools and small applications ๐Ÿ”จ
  • Teaching kids about game development ๐Ÿง’
  • Tinkering with Machine-learning ๐Ÿง
  • Overusing emojis ๐Ÿšฏ
